New DL1 Consultants Selected
Congratulations Vicki Huang and Chris Sketch! They’ll be appearing in DL1 beginning next week. DL1 regulars will recognize them.

Vicki is a Performing Arts and Technology senior, bringing expertise in character animation and drawing, in addition to audio editing and production. The monitor in DL1 has often played her final project for David Chung’s Moving Image class. Her composition “The Long Term Effects of Familliarity” won a 2008 New Music on the Block Award! Wait till you see what she’s working on for her final PAT project!
Chris Peck found DL1 when he took Smart Surfaces last fall. He finished his BSE in Material Science last April, but he’s back, working on an MSE now. We’re glad he’s here to help nurse and maintain our Fab@Home and to bring our RepRap to life, because it was largely his curiosity that started the groundswell of interest in desktop 3D printers, which caused us to bring them to DL1, in the first place.
