GALLERY

MEALS AND RECEPTIONS

Meals and receptions may be booked in the Gallery no more than one month in advance, and only if the participants have a relevant connection to the interests of the Duderstadt Center. If the Gallery is already booked for an exhibit, meals or receptions not associated with that exhibit will not be allowed to share the space.

Receptions or meals may be held in conjunction with exhibits. The publicity, arrangements, staffing, and cleanup of the Gallery are the responsibility of the exhibitor. Receptions may involve both the Gallery and the Connector Hall outside the Gallery (with the glass doors open, if appropriate). No open flames are permitted. Serving of alcohol by University-sponsored groups is governed by University policy. Because of liability concerns, non-University groups may not serve alcohol.

Arrangements for catering, rental and setup of equipment, and cleanup are made through the user's choice of caterer.

For receptions and dinners, the room will hold thirteen 60" round tables, seating 8 each, for total seating for 104. There is a small catering kitchen next to the Gallery, with a 30" refrigerator, two microwave ovens, and two 24 x 16" ovens.
