The Digital Media Commons Orientation (Monday – Friday at 10 am and 2 pm) is a 30-minute introduction to DMC resources and support staff, and includes basic training required for the Recording Booth and Multimedia Rooms (link to MMR page).

The Personal Studio Orientation (Monday and Tuesday at 2:30 pm; Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 am) is a requisite introduction to the software and equipment provided in the DMC’S popular video production room. Read more about the Personal Studio (link to PS page).

All orientations begin in Groundworks and will be led by a Ground Connections student consultant. Groups of 8 or more should contact us at to discuss special arrangements. In person orientations are currently on hold.

Groundworks Media Checkout

In collaboration with the Art, Architecture and Engineering Library and with North Campus instructors, Groundworks provides equipment for checkout to support instruction and class projects only. Learn more (Link to pdf)
