If you are interested in the roles of games and game theory in academic studies, the University of Michigan is offering a rich variety of game-related courses during the Summer and Fall 2021 terms. Val Waldron, Computer & Video Game Archive Manager, provides an extensive list of U-M courses with game-related academic content: “Game Studies Classes for the Summer and Fall Terms“, and on the Library’s research guide. If you are also looking for information on how to play games online, she recommends taking a look at the Online Games page in the research guide.

Val Waldron writes regularly on games and gaming in higher education, in the MLibrary blog “Eaten by a Grue“.
