A new course, The Art of Anatomy (MOVESCI313) looks at anatomy through an artistic lens. Using many of the innovative XR technologies in the Duderstadt Center, students are able to examine 3D printed models of bodies and bones to study the human form in a new way.
Taught by Melissa Gross (Kinesiology) & Jenny Gear (Art History) The class meets in the Visualization Studio on Fridays this fall, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Made possible with an Arts & Curriculum Grant given by the U-M Arts Initiative to promote the integration of arts into course development and teaching. The grant was awarded to Melissa Gross in November 2022.
