Conference Rooms

A flexible space for quick meetings and collaboration

The Duderstadt Center offers three conference rooms for meetings, workshops, and other academic or student service uses by U-M groups. Please note conference rooms are not intended for regular classroom use or standing weekly meetings, but classes needing video conferencing may reserve a room for specific sessions.

Explore the conference room’s core setup—built-in microphones, HD cameras, and Zoom Rooms—for a streamlined meeting experience. Please note the conference rooms are not equipped with in-room computers. An HDMI connection is provided to connect your own device to the presentation system.

U-M Zoom Rooms offer a simple, consistent conferencing setup that works with Zoom and other platforms (Teams, Google Meet, Webex, and more). ITS provides discounted licensing and hardware, pre-configured room packages, ongoing software updates, and standardized configurations across campus.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and basic dishwashing supplies.

Scheduling and Reservations

To reserve the space, follow the instructions below. The Scheduling Team will respond to your request as soon as possible.

Who it’s for: There is no fee associated with reserving a space within the Duderstadt Center; you simply need to be university-affiliated, such as a faculty member, student, or staff. 


What you’ll do: Requests are reviewed within 24 hours of submission, so same-day requests are not always available. Once we receive a request, we confirm availability and send a confirmation email. When submitting a request, please include the following information:

  • Title of reservation and brief description
  • Expected attendance
  • Department / Organization
  • Date and time
  • Any additional notes (e.g., food, special needs, etc.)
