Multifunctional spaces for hosting group events

Rooms 3336 and 3358 on the 3rd Floor of the Duderstadt Center are two unique spaces that support a variety of different teaching and learning methods. These flexible areas are open-plan with movable furniture that can be reconfigured by users during their group session if desired. They are provided to support curricular and co-curricular learning that engages DC resources. Room 3336 can currently accommodate 78 attendees, while room 3358 can accommodate 45.

Scheduling and Reservations

To reserve the space, follow the instructions below. The Scheduling Team will respond to your request as soon as possible.

Who it’s for: There is no fee associated with reserving a space within the Duderstadt Center; you simply need to be university-affiliated, such as a faculty member, student, or staff. 


What you’ll do: Email your request to the the Scheduling Office ([email protected]) including the following information:

  • Title of reservation and brief description
  • Expected attendance
  • Department / Organization
  • Date and time
  • Any additional notes (e.g., food, special needs, etc.)

Note: Requests are reviewed within 24 hours of submission, so same-day requests are not always available. Once we receive a request, we confirm availability and send a confirmation email. When submitting a request, please include the following information:
