The Duderstadt Center offers a variety of technology-equipped spaces to meet the U-M community’s needs. Whether you’re looking for a study room or planning a large event, the DC Scheduling Team is here to help.
Rooms for Individual & Small Group
Study Rooms
Rooms 2340-2352, 2360-2374, 2380-2388, Duderstadt Center
The 12 small, individual study rooms are located on the 2nd Floor. The rooms are available daily except when reserved by the Engineering Career Resource Center for student/employer interviews and for scheduled custodial cleaning, (Monday-Friday, 4:30a.m. – 7:00 a.m.).
Rooms for Large Group
Conference Room
1120A, B, D, Duderstadt Center
The Duderstadt Center offers three conference rooms for meetings, workshops, and other academic or student service uses by U-M groups.
Note: conference rooms are not intended for regular classroom use or standing weekly meetings, but classes needing video conferencing may reserve a room for specific sessions.
Design Lab 2
1365, Duderstadt Center
Design Lab 2 offers flexible Windows workstations with VR-ready graphics and headset support for digital development. It also equips large displays supporting demonstrations, presentations, editing, and livestreamed events. Software, hardware, and peripherals can be added by request.
Flexible Workspaces
Rooms 3336, 3358, Duderstadt Center
The two unique spaces on the 3rd Floor of the Duderstadt Center support a variety of different teaching and learning methods. These labs are open-plan with movable furniture that can be reconfigured by users during their group session if desired. These spaces are provided to support curricular and co-curricular learning that engages DC resources.
Presentation Room
1180, Duderstadt Center
Presentation Room offers the capability to stream meetings, presentations, and events. Lecture recording is also supported by CAEN lecture capture.
