Description: How does a show get in front of an audience? When the ink dries on the first draft of a new piece of theatre, how does it make its way to a producer, and eventually to the stage. This one-hour presentation will delve into every step of theatrical development as all the production elements converge to put on a show.


Presenter Bios:

Thomas Laub is an Ann Arbor and New York based producer, actor, and writer. Thomas is in his final year as a musical theatre major at the University of Michigan and has worked on Broadway with producers Disney Theatrical Group and Jujamcyn on Tony-winning shows from The Lion King and Frozen, to Book of MormonMean Girls, and Angels in America. President/Producer of Runyonland Productions, lead producer credits include SHEL: A Historically Fictionalized Musical and For The Record.

Erica Ito is an Ann Arbor and Hawaii based producer, actor, and writer. Erica is in her sophomore year as a musical theatre major at the University of Michigan and has worked in New York with Tony Award Nominee Hunter Foster at Bucks County Playhouse. Associate Producer of Runyonland Productions, credits include SHEL: A Historically Fictionalized MusicalMerrily We Roll AlongA Night of Myths & Hymns, and For The Record.
