Mission Statement:

The Media & Studio Arts (MSA) team at the Duderstadt Center is at the nexus of a collaboration, innovative research, and ideation for media creation and performance technologies at the University of Michigan. Empowering world-class productions, the MSA team supports students, staff, and faculty within state-of-the-art facilities through consultation, creative guidance, and production support. Technology-rich and always evolving based on the input and needs of the diverse communities we serve, the MSA studios are a resource for the entire University community.

Video Studio

A collaborative sandbox, where faculty, students, visiting educators, scientists and artists come to collaborate and to produce or display high quality video and audio and to experiment with media technology.

Audio Studios

Three state-of-the-art audio production facilities, ranging in size and capabilities, equipped with industry-standard technologies to produce professional-quality recordings.

Personal Studio

Designed to be an easy-to-use video production resource for creation of publication-ready videos at the push of a button.

Multimedia Rooms

Media editing suits optimized for a wide variety of post-production needs, such as video editing, color correction and grading, digital audio production and editing, VFX and digital animation, and single or small group podcasting.
