Hill Auditorium

April 6, 7:30-9:30 PM

Don’t miss an unforgettable evening of music, movement, and spectacle at Hill Auditorium!

Presented by LRCCS, this special celebration features an eclectic lineup of performances, from Indonesian gamelan and Baroque chamber ensembles to U-M’s newly restored original Moog synthesizer and multi-keyboard carillon.

A highlight of the evening will be a 25-foot dragon dance, brought to life by U-M students, faculty, artists, and volunteers. Designed from recycled materials and illuminated with music and community-contributed visuals, the dragon blends tradition, sustainability, and contemporary artistry.

Created by international artist Zhen Guo and collaborators across campus, this dazzling performance reimagines a classic cultural symbol for today.

Come celebrate—and maybe welcome a little good luck along the way.

The dragon will also appear at FestiFools 2026 on Sunday, April 12.
