The Cube
Desktop 3D Printer
Now Available
UM3D Lab
Do-it-yourself 3D printing is here. The Cube, a small desktop printer, prints like many rapid prototyping machines: it extrudes melted plastic through a print head to build up a printed piece layer by layer.
The 3D Lab at the University of Michigan recently purchased a Cube 3D printer for student and faculty use, providing a quick and inexpensive way to produce objects. The 3D Lab has created a series of how-to videos for those interested in using the new printer. Visit our playlist on YouTube for a step-by-step guide on how to use the Cube.
