Wins an Emmy!
The Animation Station, conceived by Tom Bray (Digital Media Commons) and Katherine Weider (U-M School of Art & Design) and designed and built by Tom Bray, Katherine Weider, Dan Fessahazion (Digital Media Commons) and Zack Jacobsen-Weaver (Art & Design) won the 2009 Michigan Emmy Award for "Advanced Media Arts/Entertainment". The animation station allows users to make their own short films at a portable kiosk. Contact Tom Bray for further information.
Summer Hours at the
Duderstadt Center
Begin June 26
The Duderstadt Center will begin operating on a summer schedule starting Friday, June 26. Summer hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 12 midnight. The schedule will return to 24/7 beginning Tuesday, September 8. In addition, the building will remain open throughout the Labor Day holiday.
