Thank you to all who supported the DC on Giving Tuesday! While Giving Tuesday has passed, you can still support programs in the DC that advance diversity and Inclusion in technology and media-rich disciplines. Make a gift anytime to the standing Duderstadt Center Enrichment Fund to expand student access to media and technology resources unique to the DC.

The DC’s Student Fellowship Program*, the primary focus of this year’s Giving Tuesday, provides opportunities for hands-on, person-to-person development of professional skills to all students, particularly in technology fields. The Duderstadt Center Enrichment Fund is also used to support experience-based project learning through acquisition of technology and funding for student engagement.

See our Duderstadt Center Enrichment Fund page to make a gift – Any Day!

*The DC’s Student Fellowship Program, managed by Digital Media Commons staff, provides work experiences, community and camaraderie among peers with similar interests, practical avenues to apply and grow skills learned in coursework, leadership, teamwork, and networking opportunities. These personal and career development experiences are highly valued by employers and graduate schools.

“Giving Tuesday” and “Giving Blueday”

The University of Michigan has two annual days of giving—two opportunities for everyone who loves Michigan to join together to combine their support and maximize impact for the causes, schools, units and student organizations they feel most passionate about. Giving Blueday will next take place on March 13, 2024. The U-M’s official crowdfunding hub for these initiatives is MaizeRaise.
