In an effort to improve your access to the GroundWorks Media
Conversion Lab, the lab has moved to the first floor.
It is now located in Room 1315 adjacent to the Central Collaboration
Area and features brand new capabilities and
expanded capacities for the things you can already do at GroundWorks.
We added more DVD recorders, CD/DVD duplicators, video dubbing equipment, and
even provide hardware & software
for simple video editing. The V-Room, a self-contained digital audio recording
booth for recording your voice or a single instrument, has been moved
into GroundWorks.
Also, the Postershop uses a new 1200 dpi, 6-ink, Postscript large format color
printer.
The main purpose of GroundWorks is to provide media capture & conversion resources to support the academic, research, and professional work of the university community. While GroundWorks may certainly be used for personal projects, please be considerate of users working on university-related projects. These projects have priority access to the special equipment available in this facility.
